Tout a commencé en 2012 quand deux consultants, Magnus Olsson et Mudassir Sheikha, ont décidé de quitter leur job pour créer quelque chose qui compte vraiment. En 2014, Abdulla Elyas, un entrepreneur Allemand Saoudien, a rejoint l’équipe des fondateurs et a contribué encore plus au ‘’Careem Boom’’ dans la région.

Supply Associate – Tangier

Supreme Customer Service is fundamental at Careem, and we want to wow our Captains (drivers) every time! The purpose of the Supply Associate role is to assist the local Operations teams in doing just that. You will be responsible for making bold decisions and working in an agile way in order to deliver a first class service working in a multi-skilled position across 3 different areas of the Training, Captain Support Peak Management. This role involves working on a shift basis that will include some weekend work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Always be Careem to captains
  • OWN one of five key functions: quality management, captain on-boarding, supplier relations, peak management, captain happiness
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the meeting of KPIs during a shift
  • Brainstorm ideas and critically re-think every process, all the time
  • Always being there for captains and colleagues

Supply Lead – Rabat

The supply lead will handle all aspects of our supply operations in Amman including but not limited to performance, quality, support and loyalty. They will focus on incentive schemes to make sure that we motivate captains with the right amount of bonuses while achieving growth. Careem always wants to ensure that we create a direct and fulfilling impact over our number one entrepreneurs; our captains. We always want to ensure that the captains are content and that our benefits directly impact their household economics that are always challenging. Hence, the Supply lead will be responsible for ensuring that the captain’s lifetime increases with Careem over competitors through providing attractive benefits. In addition, the supply lead will handle the quality ticketing system and ensure that all our complaints are handled in an efficient and timely matter.

Job responsibilities will also include:

Monitoring the activity level of captains through incentives by designing different schemes on regular basis to make sure that we’re maintaining healthy supply during the time of need and measuring the impact and growth achieved through those schemes.

Coordinating with finance department and basecamp to ensure that captains receive right amount of incentives

Tracking Fraud cases by monitoring captains who try to achieve incentives without actually doing the work.

Working on adhoc projects as required.

Improvising on Careem products to ensure that they meet market needs.

Making the captains happy to ensure that we’re their number once choice as a company.

Looking into captain pains, analyzing their problems and coming up with firefighting solutions.

Implementing monthly focus groups to understand captain pains.

Building up activities and engagements to understand captain behavior and how our brand is perceived.

Understanding what Captains say about Careem and how they compare us to competitors.

Monitoring activities of captains on social networks.

Create leads with corporates and partner with different institutions that can provide benefits to fulfill captain pains.

Monitoring the quality standards of Careem and ensuring that all tickets are closed efficiently and effectively.

Ensuring that all captain pains are met with decent management level.

Requirement Summary:

Supply Manager

Careem’s Supply managers are the backbone of the organization. They are the ones leading our teams to provide top-notch Captain support, growing the Supply, and managing the day-to-day operations in the most effective manner. Owning all KPIs across the whole supply funnel, our Supply Managers are responsible for sourcing and on-boarding our new captains, for utilising existing captains in the most efficient way and to deliver world class captain support. As a Supply Manager you are on a clear development path to an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruiting, training and onboarding captains to grow our Supply efficiently and thereby meet our company’s growth targets.
  • Own the city setup and configurations to optimize customer experience, supply growth and performance
  • Use a data driven approach to understand underlying reasons for supply shortage and drive initiatives to ensure optimal supply utilization
  • Supervising all captain support channels to ensure our captains are receiving world class support
  • Drive effective captain loyalty and engagement programs to ensure strong captain retention and increase captain lifetime value
  • Lead and develop a team of high performers
